UpandComingEdinburgh Ambitious, staggering, beautiful. Will undoubtedly be one of the albums of 2019 Favorite track: To The Forest.

Peter Jones The creativity is in the vision and sensitivity that's used to evoke the harshness of the music. It really is quite wonderful. I'm not picking out a favourite track. It wouldn't make sense.

I remember, this time, We drank in the sea. High summer, things die, For colours to run free. Things die, It's cold around our home. We grew shadows, In light, all of them are blue. In light, The canvas was removed.

Am I You? Are You Me? (free) 02:24
Say, you can find heart, We find heart, We find her. I'll see you in the starts, With spirit From nowhere. Hello, who else is there? Hello, we're right here. Glow, with my secrets And embrace, Entrance you. Say like you care, Do you care, Do you care? Hello, who else is there? Hello, we're right here.

I stared in, To the forest, It stared back, Blossom black. I can see you now I can see you now It's a secret, Hidden in view, Bloodied scenes, Fractures of you. I can see you now I can see you now Secret Hidden view Bloodied scenes Fractured you.

Tropicatie 03:28
We feel the season, secret lives, We feel the reason, summer vibes. All you think about is sour times, All this talk of hateful lives. You said it could be true, Make the dream come true. Hang around baby, tropic eyes, Tropicatie, in our lives. Where have you been, not by my side, Where have you been? You said it could be true, Make the dream come true.

Should've gone to the party, Their hands don't leave us. It's all for the soul and history, Should have gone to the party. Desired lines on your neck, Mainlined, salient, I will see you in my dreams, Desired lines on your neck. Mirror that lost feeling, Push your hands right through it, All the people we know, said like you crashed, Where was that money fed? Desired lines on your neck, Mainlined, salient, I will see you in my dreams, Desired lines on your neck.

about

"Pre-eminent lo-fi post-punk/shoegaze masters"

– The Skinny

"A rich, rushing tapestry of interwoven sounds, lush melodies, sinister overtones and captivating dark-pop feelings."

– Keep It Fast

"One of my favourite pieces of music just now is 'Tamara de Lempicka' by Edinburgh's False Bliss"

– Edinburgh Music Lovers

"In terms of ambition and execution, this is a beast of an album. Glimpsing chaos at times, there is vision and real artistry here, making for an enthralling listen."

– Up and Coming Edinburgh

"Album of The Week"

– BBC Radio Rapal

"A heavyweight stomper of an album"

– The Fountain

"Multi-layered guitar rock with swathes of synthesizers, making for music that would be dreamy if it wasn’t quite so raucous. Album of The Week"

– Is This Music?

Ritual Terrains, is the new album from False Bliss, FKA DTHPDL and out through label Scottish Fiction.

The album is an exploration of identity and uncertainty, dealing with subjects of deforestation, multiple personality disorder, immigration, acceptance, supernatural folklore, art and technology. Musically, the album is a cohesive work of shoegaze and noise guitars, pulsing synths, dreamy vocals and driving rhythms, working as a continuous piece of music or as individual tracks.

Ritual Terrains will be available in cassette, digital download and limited-edition tapes through Scottish Fiction.

The limited tapes are a result of a special performance in March this year, where each member of the band added to the studio recordings with a live improvised set.
